v-lex is the trading name of John Yates, a well known consultant and commercial adviser. John helps buyers and sellers to make effective contracts for complex technology and outsourcing services, and to solve problems when things go wrong.
John's approach is all about making complex things simple : Less is More.
John is the author of trade association Intellect’s Contract and Commercial Guidelines and escrow contract. He’s also a past chairman of the Society for Computers and Law. In 2006, John was made a Fellow of the Society in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the development of IT law in the UK.

Many NHS trusts are moving into unfamiliar territory as they embark on local IT procurements for the first time in a decade.
